Hi guys! Happy Tuesday– since I missed yesterday, I hope you guys had a good weekend! Mine was pretty packed. Dave and I went downtown one night for my friend’s birthday (and got late night chicken and waffles…oops), got lots of errands done, and spent Sunday in LA with his family. I finally got to meet his sister’s new babies and they were adorable! It was so precious seeing Dave with the babies, haha. He’s WAY more natural at it than me!!
If there’s something I wear more than anything else during the summer, it’s dresses. Specifically, white dresses. To me, there’s nothing that says summer like a classic white dress! This one I scooped up from Old Navy last summer and it’s one of my all time favorites. I can’t resist a classic shirt dress, and the linen/cotton blend of this one is perfect for hot days. For being such a simple style, I got tons of compliments on this look when I wore it out and about last weekend. Just goes to show that you can’t go wrong with classic pieces!! A red lip doesn’t hurt, either. 😉
I wore it here with my trusty red crossbody bag and striped espadrille wedges. I like how this look has an Americana feel to it but it’s not over the top. It would be perfect for a more subtle Fourth of July outfit!
All of these pieces are older, but I linked some super similar options below:
