Happy Monday! This weekend was one of those weekends where I reeeeeally wish I had just one more day. You know? I did get a lot done though, so I’m happy I was pretty productive. I got a lot of furniture stuff figured out for the apartment, so it feels good to have gotten some of that out of the way. We had a fun night out on St. Patrick’s Day (a nice change from our retirement home status these days), had some quality mom and daughter time, ordered pizza in on Saturday night (best decision ever), and ended the weekend at a barbecue with friends. As I sat outside in the sun with a Corona light in hand, I have to say– it really felt like summer. And it felt so, so good. I’m so excited for the warm months ahead!
The white off the shoulder top was somehow missing from my wardrobe for the longest time, but I can now say that I found one. A good one, too! I found it on a rare in-person Forever 21 trip, and for $16 I couldn’t leave without it! It’s the perfect piece to pair with your favorite pair of jeans and wedges for an effortless spring look. I added a boater hat and basket bag to make the look even more springy and casual, but you could totally wear it with black pumps and a fun clutch for a dressier ensemble! I can’t wait to wear it in Cabo with cutoff shorts and lace up sandals. So cute!
