Fall Florals in Wine Country

October 25, 2017

When I got this dress last month, I knew I wanted to wear it in Santa Ynez. I even waited until last weekend to wear it because I was just so excited and wanted it to be fresh on our trip (is that weird?). It ended up being so perfect for wine tasting and adventuring, and it was definitely worth the wait! I love this dress for a few different reasons. First of all, I’m super obsessed with all things mustard right now, so I pretty much had to have it. Second of all, the floral print and boho style just seemed perfect for a laid back wine tasting weekend. I’m also really loving fall florals right now, and I fell in love with this pattern!

I always prefer wearing dresses that are “throw and go.” This one is just so easy to throw on and head out the door, and it’s so comfortable, which was perfect since I spent basically all day and night in it. It took me from wine tasting and lunch in Los Olivos to the outdoor harvest party that lasted all evening. I wore it with booties and a hat, and it was the perfect combo for a warm fall day. I did have to add my jean jacket in the evening since it gets pretty chilly at night in Santa Ynez!

Also… isn’t the vineyard gorgeous?! The ranch was covered in rolling hills filled with grape vines. The oak trees dotted throughout the hills are just so dreamy! I seriously want to get married in a vineyard like this someday. It’s gorgeous!!
