After doing so much traveling last year, I’m super inspired to continue the trend this year! I’ve had the travel bug since I was little, but the past couple of years it’s hit me hard. All I want to do these days is plan out another trip! I think it’s super important to keep trips on the books, even if it’s a short weekend trip to the next town or a staycation at home, just to have something to look forward to. It’s a total motivator! I don’t think I have any more month long Europe trips on the horizon, but I’ve got plenty of weekend destinations and shorter trips in mind to keep me busy. 😉 Here’s a few of the places I’d love to go this year!
Charleston has been on my travel list for a couple of years now, and I’m hoping to cross it off as soon as possible!! I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the food, beaches, and Southern charm. I might never leave!
Nantucket is another one that I’ve been dreaming about for a while! I haven’t really experienced true New England, and I feel like Nantucket is what it’s alllllll about. I want to eat a lobster roll, go sailing, and drool over all the adorable beach homes!
I’ve been to Mexico quite a bit, but only when I was teeny tiny! Since it’s so close (I mean…the border is literally 25 miles away), I would love to go on a few Mexico trips this year. It would be fun to take a quick road trip to Ensenada, do a long weekend in Cabo, or spend a week in Cancun. I would love to do them all, but if I can squeeze in one this year I’d be happy!
The only time I’ve ever been to Napa was when I was about 15, so I couldn’t even go wine tasting! Most of my girlfriends from college live in SF, so I’d love to plan a girls trip and go wine tasting for the weekend this spring or summer.
Grand Canyon, AZ
Arizona is only one state away, but for some reason I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon! Since it’s one of the seven wonders of the world, I feel even more obligated to go, especially because it’s so darn close. It would be the perfect start to a road trip!
Where would you like to go this year?
