This and That No. 39

September 22, 2017

We made it to Friday! Oh, and happy first day of fall! The weather has been amazing this week. It’s actually been feeling like fall! Although I looked at the forecast and it’s supposed to be 90 again next week, so I guess I’ll take what I can get, haha. The photo above was taken when Dave and I were in London last year, and I miss it so much. The crisp air, the changing leaves…what I would give to be in London right now!!

I’m extra excited about this weekend because my dad’s big party is tomorrow. I talked about it in this post, in case you missed it. My outfit is planned (I’m wearing a black, shiny, flared leg jumpsuit) and I’m ready to party. It’s going to be so much fun to celebrate him, he certainly deserves it! For all the behind the scenes and fun party snaps, follow along on my Insta-stories tomorrow. 🙂

1 // Things to Do in San Diego this Fall

This is a great list of all the events going on in San Diego over the next couple of months. Might have to add a few to my calendar– I’m particularly excited about San Diego Beer week!

2 // Financial Habits to Master in Your 20s

I’ve been thinking a lot about my finances lately, especially now that I’m making a tiny bit more since starting to work part time at Stitch Fix again (#hustle). This article has some really great tips to start getting your finances on track, even if you’re just starting out in your career.

3 // Qapital Savings App

Speaking of good financial habits, I recently downloaded Qapital and I’m really loving it. It’s SUPER easy to use, and makes saving a breeze. I love that you can create different goals for yourself! You create rules for saving such as rounding up on every transaction, a certain amount a week, etc. It’s really nice to be saving without even realizing it!

4 // Pasta Limone Recipe

For some reason I’ve been craving pasta like crazy lately (not the best craving to have, but oh well). I usually just stick to variations of TJ’s pesto and red sauces, but this pasta limone recipe looks SO good and so easy. I have all those things in my pantry at all times, so I’m definitely going to try this the next time I’m not sure what to make for dinner!

5 // J.Crew Signet Flap Bag

I’ve had a crush on J.Crew’s signet bag for a while now. However, they just released this signet flap version, and I’m obsessed. I mean….it’s the perfect bag. And with a monogram? That’s the cherry on top! Ugh. I love it so much! Might have to treat myself for my birthday in a couple months. 😉

Have a great weekend!
