Happy Friday, friends! I hope you all had a great week. I don’t know about you guys, but it feels like this week FLEW by at lightning speed. I’ve got a lot on my plate at the moment and I’ve pretty much been busy every minute of the day! The upside to being super busy is that time goes by quickly. I’m extra excited for this weekend because Dave gets home from his two week work trip tomorrow, AND it’s his birthday! Gah, I know it’s only been two weeks but I’ve missed him so much. I can’t wait for tomorrow! 🙂
Have an amazing weekend!
1 // Cabin
I stumbled upon Cabin the other day and think it’s SUCH a cool idea. Basically, it’s a luxurious overnight sleeping bus that goes between LA and SF. It leaves at 11pm and gets in at 7am, and you sleep the whole time in your own private cabin (with nice linens, blackout curtains, etc). I mean, how cool is that?! It’s $115 one way which really isn’t bad. I really hope they open some San Diego routes soon!
2 // Statement Top
I’ve had my eye on a top like this for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger on one just yet. I’m really loving the silhouette of this one. It’s voluminous and fun but not too over the top. Plus, the gingham option is so cute! It’s perfect for “fall” in San Diego.
I was perusing Target today and saw they were offering a new clothing brand and everything was so cute. I knew they were getting rid of Mossimo and Merona, but I kind of forgot about it until now! Let’s just say, it’s going to be even harder to walk out of Target with the things I actually need. In the article it says the line won’t hit stores until the 27th, but in my local Target they already had lots there!
I’m pretty much the worst when it comes to handling stress, and lately I feel like I’ve been stressed and frazzled more often than not. This article shares lots of helpful tips for reducing stress and getting your mind back in the right place.
5 // No-Cook Summer Meals
I’ve been on a salad kick lately partly because I’ve been wanting to eat less carbs and also because it’s been too darn hot to cook. I don’t have AC in my apartment, so the last thing I want to do is heat things up even more with the oven and stove! I’m obsessed with What’s Gaby Cooking, and I love all of these ideas for almost no-cook meals. Definitely adding a few of these to my list to make next week!
