This and That No. 30

July 14, 2017

Who’s ready for the weekend?! I know I sure am!! I can’t wait to get out of the office and into the sunshine. Overall it’s been a pretty good week though! On Wednesday, Dave came to my place after work and we went to the beach for a sunset walk. Even though I live maybe a couple miles away from the beach, I don’t go as often as I should. I need to start making it a priority, because a walk on the beach with my toes in the sand and the most gorgeous sunset ever was seriously good for the soul.

Dave’s parents are in town this weekend, so we have a pretty full weekend packed with fun activities. We’re going to a Padres game tonight, barbecuing and beaching tomorrow, and exploring different neighborhoods and maybe doing a little beer tasting on Sunday. It’s going to be a super summery weekend and I’m so excited!

1 // How to be more productive at work

My boss actually shared this article with my team this week, and I found it to be so helpful. There were some great tips about making the most of your time and how to actually get things done. I know it’s Friday so you’re probably checked out, so bookmark the article for Monday!

2 // Big Little Lies guide to Monterey

If you haven’t seen Big Little Lies, you really need to! The book was based in a small Australian town, but they filmed in Monterey for the show. The shots and locations where they filmed were all SO gorgeous. I’ve driven up the coast before but I’m thinking I might need to do it again. I love this guide to all the filming locations!

3 // Summer pajama set

I love a good matching pajama set! I bought the cutest short set from Old Navy last year and I adore it, but I’m looking for another summery pair to add to my collection. Enter this floral set from Target! The set is only $25 and it’s SO darling!

4 // When life gives you lemons kitchen towels

These kitchen towels have to be the most adorable things I’ve ever seen. I’m loving all things lemon print right now! These towels would be a fun summery addition to your kitchen or would make a perfect hostess gift for any summer parties you might have coming up.

5 // Dolce Vita straw tote

Although I love my vintage straw tote, I’ve been itching to add a new one to my collection. I saw this ‘Dolce vita’ tote from Loft a couple of weeks ago but just noticed that it was marked down even more, making it only $25!!
