This and That No. 25

May 26, 2017

What a week.

I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t the best week. Part of it stemmed from losing my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses (I never lose anything, so I’m particularly bummed), and part of it was just me being over exhausted and overwhelmed. For the past day I feel like I’ve been doing nothing but complaining, so I’m just going to stop myself there and start focusing on the positive….like all the gorgeous bougainvillea blooming everywhere such as in the photo above. Another positive….it’s the weekend!! Today I’m headed to Santa Barbara to celebrate my bestie’s bachelorette weekend. I can’t wait to sip on some rosé, explore one of my favorite cities, and have some fun (and forget alllll about this week)! Follow along with the craziness on Insta-stories! 😉

1 // Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

The Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale started yesterday and there are SO many good pieces on sale! I’m particularly in love with this one shoulder top, this adorable eyelet dress, and this off the shoulder dress. So many pieces are under $50!!!

2 // The Morning Routines of Successful Women

I got so inspired reading this article about the morning routines of these 10 SUPER successful women. Definitely going to use this as motivation to not lay in bed for 30 minutes on my phone in the mornings…

3 // Pineapple Shower Curtain

In case you didn’t already know, I’m obsessed with pineapples. In my pineapple roundup the other day I somehow missed this amazing shower curtain! If I put one more pineapple thing in my apartment I might need to seek serious help, but will someone else please get this for their bathroom?!

4 // Avocado Deviled Eggs

Who doesn’t love deviled eggs? I mean, they’re usually the first things to get eaten up at any party because they’re just so good. I came across this recipe for avocado deviled eggs this week and they sound amazing. They are topped with the everything-but-the-bagel seasoning from TJ’S that I’ve been dying to try. YUM! Such a fun twist on a classic!

5 // Rancho Bernardo Inn

The conference my company just hosted was at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, and it was SO beautiful. I’d heard and seen photos of the hotel, but never actually been there. It’s stunning! The spa pool looked so fabulous– I want to come back and book an appointment. For you SD locals out there, definitely check it out!!
