Friday is here!!! Hallelujah!
How pretty are these blooms we saw on our walk in Coronado last weekend?! San Diego is completely in bloom and I can’t get enough. As for this weekend, I don’t have many plans other than to get my room put together! I think I finally have everything for my room and now it’s just putting it all together (*cough* Dave *cough*). We’re still waiting on our couch to come in, and I’m hoping it’ll come this weekend too! I mean, throwing a bunch of pillows on the rug and making a nest to watch TV has been fun and all, buuuut we are so ready for a couch. Stay tuned for some home decor posts in the coming weeks! 🙂
1 // Desk Chair
I finally bought a desk chair last night– woo! I had a hard time deciding between this one and this one, but I ultimately went with the Eames style chair. I went with that one because I think it’ll fit into my space better (and it was a little cheaper). I had been searching for both of these types of chairs online forever and couldn’t find any affordable options, until I remembered Amazon. Good ol’ Amazon of course came through, because you really can’t beat these prices!! I can’t wait for it to get here!
2 // Broadchurch
If you need a new show to binge on Netflix, watch Broadchurch. One of my best friends recommended it to me and I’m obsessed. It’s a British murder mystery set in the most gorgeous seaside town in England. I mean. It doesn’t get any better! I haven’t started season 2 yet, so no spoilers! 🙂
3 // Mouse Pad
I posted my new adorable mouse pad for my desk at work on Insta-stories and got a few questions about it! I actually posted about it way back in this post and didn’t get around to buying it until now. It’s only $6 and so so cute! It brightens up my office desk so much and makes me happy every time I look at it. It’s the little things, you know?!
4 // DIY Dog Bed
Came across this article and it’s too cute not to share (plus I love Corgis). This man turned an old school TV console into a bed for his corgi. I mean….so cute!
5 // Greek Chicken Bowls
I made a version of these Greek Chicken Bowls this week and it was the perfect weeknight meal using ingredients I usually have on hand, like chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion. I bought Tzatziki from Trader Joe’s instead of making it and this meal seriously hardly took any time to put together. It’s going to be on my weeknight rotation for sure!
