We made it to Friday! I officially made it through my first week at my new job– yay! I finally got some new office supplies and decor, so my desk is looking way cuter. The commute is exhausting, and it’s always a little intimidating trying to fit into new office life (especially the first week), but I’m so happy with where I’m at. I feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be, which is an entirely new feeling for me! This weekend, Dave and I are heading off to LA for the night then back to San Diego for the Super Bowl on Sunday. Hope you all have a good one!
1 // Making the most of Friday
Since it is Friday, I thought I’d share this article I read last week about how successful women make the most of their Fridays. I feel like everyone loses a bit of motivation on Fridays (because how can you not?), but these tips will help you stay focused and motivated before the weekend starts.
2 // J.Crew x New Balance
When I first saw this collaboration on Carly’s blog this week, I just about had a heart attack. I don’t know about you guys, but new workout clothes always motivate me to work out, and these are SO cute. I mean, these pink striped pants?! I would go to 6am yoga just to wear these pants! Okay, maybe not 6am….but you know what I mean. 😉
3 // Under $120 bar cart
I’ve been obsessed with bar carts for a while now, and I always scour estate sales and garage sales in hopes of finding an amazing vintage one. If I don’t find the perfect one, I might just have to snag this adorable option from Target. For under $120, it’s such a steal!
4 // Beauty and the Beast
The final trailer came out for the new Beauty and the Beast movie, and I seriously cannot wait for it to come out. The casting is so on point, and it seems like they did an incredible job on everything! Are you going to go see it?!
5 // Breakfast on the go
I love breakfast. I always make some sort of egg scramble in the morning, but with my new schedule of getting up at the crack of dawn, I’m not even hungry until I get to work! I can’t exactly whip up a scramble at the office, so I thought these breakfast egg muffins would be a perfect alternative. I can make them at the beginning of the week and just take one to work each day!
