What a whirlwind week! I started my new job, which I still can’t really believe, and it’s been so great. There’s always a learning curve with any new job, so I just can’t wait to get into the swing of things and settled into my new routine. So far, I love my position and I feel so grateful that things are starting to fall into place! Ready for a weekend to get organized and buy a few fun office supplies for my new desk. 🙂 Here’s this week’s this and that!
1 // Gingham dress
This little dress caught my eye the other day and I am so. in. love. I mean…pink AND gingham AND a tie waist?!? Sign me up! I know I would wear this dress alllll spring long.
2 // Oscar nominations
The countdown to the Oscars is on, and the nominations just came out this week! So far I’ve seen La La Land, Lion, and Hacksaw Ridge, and they are all incredible movies I would highly recommend. I love the fact that both Lion and Hacksaw Ridge are based on amazing true stories. Can’t wait to see who takes home the big wins!
3 // Blogging tips
I’m always on the hunt for blogging advice, tips, and tricks. I love this post from one of my favorite bloggers, Grace, who writes The Stripe. In the post, she shares some super specific advice that I know I’m definitely going to put into use!
4 // Current favorite podcast
I recently started listening to podcasts (they make a long commute SO much better), and I’ve really been loving The Lively Show. In it, blogger Jess Lively interviews tons of bloggers, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Hearing the stories of bloggers I follow and people I look up to is incredibly inspiring, and something that I look forward to every morning now. If you’re a blogger/creative, you’ll love this podcast!
5 // Riced cauliflower
I’ve been on a healthy cooking craze these days, and I finally picked up some riced cauliflower from Trader Joe’s to pair with my yellow curry the other day. Guys, this stuff is a GAME CHANGER. I’m a huge zoodle fan and eat them every week, and riced cauliflower might be my new favorite. It’s the perfect healthy alternative to rice, and you can’t even taste the difference!
Have a great weekend!
