Sunday Polo

June 9, 2016

You guys, I think I have a new favorite sport to watch.

Last weekend Dave and I headed up north for Opening Day at the San Diego Polo Club. It’s safe to say we had a good time! We had a blast dressing up, drinking champagne and making new friends. After a few people explained the rules to us, we were cheering with the best of them! Polo is such a fun, fast paced sport to watch, and I love that you’re so close to the action. This definitely won’t be my last polo match! After stomping the divots for the first time, there was a local sponsor offering free champagne across the field. Naturally, we jumped at the words “free” and “champagne” and headed right over! They had amazing seats that we ended up sitting in for most of the first match. So basically we got free champagne, food, and the best seats in the house. Not sure how it happened, but I’m so happy it did!! Even if it hadn’t, we still would have had an amazing day. Our regular seats were pretty darn awesome! Needless to say, if you get the chance to go to a polo match, DO IT!

Now onto the outfit! I went for a preppy look and opted for this little seersucker dress. With my new floppy hat and champagne in hand, I definitely felt very Julia Roberts-esque! Seersucker just screams summertime, and I love that it’s pink (of course). Plus, shirt dresses are pretty much my favorite thing these days. This one is so so comfy, and it’s all I’ve been wanting to wear! It was just the ticket for a hot day in the sun.
