Spring Ready Gingham

February 27, 2017

Mondays are so much more bearable coming off of a productive and refreshing weekend, am I right?! I got so many little things done this weekend like getting my tires rotated, cleaning and organizing, and grocery shopping (real #adulting ya’ll).ย Dave and I also had a fun date night at our favorite sushi spot and of course got a few more episodes of Game of Thrones in. We just finished season 5 and I’m. freaking. out. I don’t know if I’m ready for season 6!!

Anyways.ย We need to talk about this dress! It’s from eShakti, which is a super awesome brand that allows you to customize your clothes. So for example, if you see a dress on their site that is long sleeved and tea length (like this one originally was), you can customize it to your liking. In this case, I went with sleeveless and a hemline right below the knee, and I love how it came out. Their prices are super affordable too, so you can get custom pieces without spending a pretty penny! How cool is that?!

Gingham is pretty much a neutral in my book, and I can’t get enough of it for spring. A gingham dress, espadrille wedges, and a woven tote is pretty much going to be my spring uniform, I already know it. This vintage tote was a Poshmark find, and I’m so obsessed with it! I’m loving anything straw/woven right now, so when I saw this bag I knew I had to have it. I’m going to be wearing it nonstop this spring!! I linked a bunch of similar options below!

Dress: eShakti, c/o (similar here, here, here, and here)

Espadrille Wedges: Marshalls (love these, these, and these for all under $100!)

Woven Bag: Poshmark (similar here, here, and here)

Sunnies: Ray-Ban
