Seine Strolling

November 30, 2016

We really lucked out with the weather on our trip, especially in Paris. Everyone warned us that it could be cold, dreary, and awful. Well, it was chilly, but the sun peeked out quite a bit, making for absolutely gorgeous fall days. It was perfect for all the walking we did! And boy did we walk a lot. I think we clocked in at least 20,000 steps a day!! Each day we’d walk along different parts of the Seine, and it became one of my favorite activities. I loved watching the boats go by, and there was always such great people watching (the street style is SO GOOD). On this particular day, we caught a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, too! After our walk, we finished off the day with a big bowl of mussels, bread, and french onion soup (which is basically what our diets consisted of during our time in Paris). Paris is just so incredibly beautiful, I could spend a lifetime exploring all of it!

I said it before and I’ll say it again- my trench coat was hands down one of the best things I brought on the trip. It has a removable liner, which makes it super versatile and wearable basically anytime of year. I of course kept it in since it was so chilly, but it was nice to know that I could remove the liner if it happened to get warm out. Plus, it’s a classic style that you can easily dress up or down, making it perfect for travel. If you’re going to Europe (or doing any sort of fall travel), I can’t recommend this trench enough.
