Transitioning to Fall

October 10, 2016

In typical Southern California fashion, October is proving to be the hottest month of the year. For the past few days, temps have soared into the 90s!! Scorching hot days haven’t exactly been inspiring me to reach for a flannel and a vest, so I’ve been trying to dress for fall in a more weather appropriate way. I wore this little white dress lots this summer, so I transitioned it into “fall” by pairing it with a denim jacket, ankle booties, and a burgundy hat. These little fall inspired touches made the outfit feel seasonally appropriate, while still actually wearable in the heat. If you’re looking for a way to repurpose some of your summer dresses, this is the way to do it! Here’s to hoping for some cooler weather this week!!
