How To Cozy Up Your Bedroom this Fall

Whenever fall rolls around, I love to update my bedroom with cozy touches. Even the simplest of things, like adding a chunky knit blanket or getting some new candles can really get you into the fall spirit. Fall is all about having a cozy space that you can spend cuddled up on chilly nights! These are some of my favorite (and super easy) ways to update your bedroom decor for fall.

1. Fall candles.

Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, vanilla, and woodsy scents are all my favorites for fall. Candles are a great way to set the mood for fall, and are perfect for cozy nights at home. Marshalls always has amazing candles at a super great price point, which is great if you go through candles quickly like me!

2. Cozy knit blankets.

Swap your lighter summer throws for some cozy, chunky knit blankets that will keep you super cozy. I’m absolutely loving all the amazing options from Crane and Canopy (this one and this one are my favorites)! Also, more is more, so get a couple for an extra cozy look.

3. Switch up your color scheme.

If your room is full of bright summery colors, it’s just not going to have that fall feeling that you’re looking for. So, swap out your summer brights for fall inspired colors like burgundy or camel. The slightly darker colors will totally get you in the mood for fall!

4. Add texture.

Add some textured pillows or a fun rug to get your space feeling extra warm. I love cable knit or embellished pillows and furry rugs! They just give the overall feeling of coziness. I’m loving these pillows!

5. Bring the outdoors in.

Decorate with autumn leaves to give your space some extra color and an earthy feel that’s perfect for fall. Just head outside and see what pretty branches and leaves you can find- so easy!
