I seriously can’t believe it’s already September. Has this year flown by or what?!
As much as I’m excited about the new season ahead, it’s always a little bit of a bummer because September in San Diego is one of our hottest months. All I want to do is start pulling out fall clothes and I can’t– it’s pretty much torture (I know, so dramatic haha). Even though the weather might not be cooperating, I’m now slowly starting to pick out fall pieces to transition my wardrobe into the fall season. I might not necessarily be able to wear everything just yet, but at least I’ll be prepared. I’m also really dying to sneak in a quick weekend somewhere chilly in the next month or two so I can at least get a tiny snippet of fall! Fingers crossed!
My Southern California fall wardrobe is typically full of mostly lightweight pieces since the weather here is so mild. I especially love vests for fall here because they are perfect for layering and aren’t as heavy as a jacket. Blazers are also a great fall option for fall in SoCal! I actually just ordered this camel blazer after wanting one forever, and I can’t wait for it to come in the mail. I also need a few new pairs of flats and I’m seriously loving these navy ones that are only $30!
Here are the pieces I’ve had my eye on for fall:
