Fall has always been one of my favorite times of year. Although there isn’t a huge temperature change in San Diego, the season’s slightly cooler weather is a welcome change from our usual warm temps. Plus, there’s a feeling in the air during the fall season that can’t be beat. Best of all, there are so many great things to look forward to! Pumpkin patches, Halloween decorations, apple pie, changing leaves (even if I catch a glimpse of a few I’m happy) and cozy scarves are just a few of my favorite things.
Here’s my fall bucket list:
-Head to Bates Nut Farm to pick out the perfect pumpkin and grab some fall treats
-Make Ina Garten’s pumpkin cupcakes with maple frosting
-Wine tasting in Temecula
-Take a day trip to Julian and get their famous apple pie
-Find new hikes (fall is the perfect time to hike)
-Try making mulled wine
-Go sweater shopping
-Go to a haunted house (maybe get enough courage to go to Haunted Trails)
-Master a new soup recipe
-Go to a football game
-Eat candy corn and watch Hocus Pocus
-Bundle up and have a bonfire on the beach
