I did little bit of online shopping a couple weeks ago for some fall pieces and one of my favorite things I got is this corduroy skirt. There wasn’t a photo of it on the model so I didn’t how it was going to look, but oh my goodness I’m in love. I’ve been on the hunt for a great corduroy skirt and this one checks all the boxes! I absolutely love skirts for fall in SoCal since our fall is so mild (although for the past week or so it’s felt very fall-like around here which has been amazing).
I decided to mix things up a little bit and pair it with this fun ruffle sleeve top (last seen in this post!). To be honest, I’ve rarely worn this top since that post, but I think I’m going to have to bring it out more this fall. I forgot how much I love it! It’s definitely a trendier piece, but I love how it adds a bit of fun to the more classic feel of the corduroy skirt. Even though it’s trendy, I think the crisp white makes it feel less over the top and more wearable.
Gingham will always be my favorite all year, but when fall comes around I usually put my navy/white gingham away and replace it with more autumnal hues. However, I couldn’t resist keeping this little bag out a little longer! I love how it adds the perfect pop of pattern to any outfit. Also, even though it’s summery, I think it works here with the fall textures. I think it would be cute with jeans, flats, and a blazer for fall, too!
