Classic Striped Sweater

March 8, 2017

There’s nothing better than a striped sweater, am I right?! Last Sunday when we were in LA, we made a pitstop in El Segundo on our way home to snap some photos and grab a coffee. It just so happened that it was like the coldest morning ever!! I was so happy I was wearing this cozy cashmere sweater, let me tell you. I’m such a weenie when it comes to cold weather, it’s pretty pathetic!

We escaped the wind and impending drizzle for a coffee at Blue Butterfly Coffee and oh my god it was seriously heaven. White marble tables, exposed brick walls, insanely delicious looking homemade bagels…I mean, I really wanted to just move in. The coffee was also darn good, too! If you’re ever in El Segundo, please please tell me you’ll go check it out.

Back to the sweater. I actually stole this sweater from my mom’s closet. I bought it for her for Christmas a couple years ago, so I feel like I get to wear it once or twice, right?! It’s Vince and cashmere, and feels like butta. I actually snagged it at Marshalls (because I’m sneaky like that) so I got an amazing deal on it! I wish it was mine because man do I love it. It’s the perfect thing to throw on with jeans and sneakers for a casual Sunday! The cashmere is going to start being a bit too heavy with the warm weather on the horizon, so I’m hoping to swap this one out with a lighter weight version. How cute would one be with shorts and sandals for spring?!

I included a bunch of my favorite striped sweaters below for you to shop in case you’re in the market for one!
