Casual Work Look

June 15, 2017

Happy Friday eve!! Is it just me or has this week gone by super slow?! I’m so ready for the weekend. At least we’ve only got one more day– we can do this!!

At my office, the dress code is pretty casual. Not off the shoulder tops and ripped jeans casual, but jeans and t-shirts are totally acceptable. It’s kind of tough to dress for at times, because most of my wardrobe is either too casual or too dressy. Most of my outfits end up being dressier than the rest of the office, but what can I say? I can’t help myself!

One of my go-to work outfits is a simple combo of jeans, a button down, and chunky heels. Showing up in sky-high wedges or pointed pumps and a pencil skirt is a bit much for the relaxed atmosphere at my work, so this combo strikes just the right balance. I LIVE for shorter chunky heels like this for the office– they make an outfit feel more put together without being over the top. I wear this outfit on repeat all the time, because it’s just so darn easy and foolproof! Next time you’re struggling to find a cute work outfit, give this look a try. It’s a win every time!
