Cabo Casual

We’re back from Cabo!

Sorry for the missing Monday post, but I couldn’t bring myself to face reality yesterday! Heading in to work today and dealing with reality was like a big slap in the face, ugh. No more beach days and swim up bars, just deadlines. The post-vacay blues are REAL, let me tell you!

Long story short, we had the absolute best time in Cabo! The whole trip was a complete dream and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend. When your biggest decisions are between which pool you want to lay by (the one with the ocean view or the one with the swim up bar), you know it’s a good vacation. Mexico is just the best. I swear they put something in the air down there that slows down time in the best way– everything and everyone is just RELAXED. Maybe it has something to do with the all the tequila and Coronas?! Either way I’m obsessed with Cabo and already itching to plan another trip back. I’ll share more details about the trip in following posts, but for now we’ll start with this little outfit!

This chambray off the shoulder dress is easily one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. I last wore it on the blog in Palm Springs, and I knew I had to bring it on this trip. It’s the perfect vacation dress that you can easily wear day or night! I loved throwing it on to head to breakfast at the resort or for going out to dinner in town in the evenings. I switched it up and wore it one shoulder this time around because…why not? I’m loving everything one shoulder these days, so I just slipped it on one shoulder and voila! Now I pretty much have two dresses for the price of one.
